Apple Guava Chaat

What's sweet and spicy and crunchy and mushy and seasonal and delicious?

When you've had enough of stewing and baking and cooking your apples and you're looking for something with a little bit of a savory crunch to it, take some inspiration from delicious Indian street food and pop your apples into a nice ol' chaat.

Chop up everything and mix together, and serve as a cold side (very easy to make ahead) or as a hearty afternoon snack.

Apple Guava Chaat

1 large apple
1 large guava
1 large potato (boiled and peeled)
1 tbsp chaat masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 green chillies
1 sprig parsley or mint

Chop the apple, guava, and boiled & peeled potato into even bite sized pieces. Chop the chillies roughly and mince the parsley or mint.

In a bowl, combine all of these with the chaat masala and lemon juice.

Let sit for 20 minutes, then serve.
